9A.1.1 - A Consumer submits a request for data consumption

Description

Simpl‑Open shall allow a Consumer to initiate a request for data consumption if they have an active usage contract for the data resource with the Provider. The consumption request must contain all information required to process the request. This consists of the following, depending on the scenario:

• Scenario 1: Data resource destination or location where the requested data resource should be delivered
• Scenario 2: Contact information to receive access details
• Scenario 3: Destination information for the delivery of deployment instructions
• Scenario 4: Contact information to receive access details

Note: Scenario 2 is covered by BP08 infrastructure consumption and scenario 3 and 4 are covered by BP09B application consumption.
