On 29 January 2026, Brussels became the meeting point for Europe’s data-sharing community as Simpl hosted the second edition of its Annual Community Event. More than just a gathering, the event demonstrated how Simpl is actively strengthening and scaling the European data-sharing ecosystem. Through forward-looking discussions on Simpl-Open. Including the latest release, upcoming extensions, and the continued evolution of the programme. The day underscored Simpl’s commitment to enabling secure, interoperable, and impactful data collaboration across Europe.

A strong start to the year

The Simpl Annual Community Event 2026 set a confident tone for the year ahead with a full programme and a full house. A total of 450 participants joined, 234 in person and 216 online, reflecting the growing momentum around the Simpl initiative. Across twelve dynamic sessions, the agenda moved from high level strategic debate to guided technical sessions. 34 speakers shared insights, bringing together a dynamic community ready to accelerate Europe’s data ambitions.
