pointed to us a very interesting ISO TC 211 document titled "Input to EU Data Spaces," dated 5 December 2023.
The document presents a comprehensive guide on integrating geospatial standards with the technical building blocks of the Data Space Support Centre (DSSC). This initiative is a significant step towards enhancing interoperability and data sharing across various domains.
The document also underscores the importance of leveraging ISO/TC211 and OGC geospatial standards to ensure seamless data exchange and integration within the European Union's digital ecosystem. These standards are instrumental in enabling consistent and accurate geographic information representation across EU Data Spaces.
Thank you for starting this discussion and my apologies for taking this long to post. This is a very relevant and useful topic. The Simpl-Open programme aims to deliver an open-source middleware platform and provide compatible components that support interoperability. To do so, the programme promotes standards and policies were applicable. Your discussion focusses our attention on the current industry dialogue regarding georeferencing standards and how it impacts the Simpl-Open requirements, roadmap and development. Let's continue the discussion here, by focusing on concrete use-cases within known data spaces. If you could provide such use cases, we could then guide the further elaboration of the requirements and roadmap.
Thanking you in advance and we look forward to your feedback!
Thank you for the Information
