Simpl-Open Community Preview: DOME Marketplace & Monetisation

The Simpl-Open Community Preview webinar gives the community an early opportunity to explore upcoming Simpl-Open developments and contribute perspectives before the work progresses further.

This session will focus on the proposed requirements for two Simpl-Open extension areas: DOME Marketplace integration and Monetisation. These requirements translate data-space needs into the capabilities that will guide the next stages of Simpl-Open development.

Participants will get context on what each extension is intended to enable, explore selected requirements in more detail, and discuss questions and practical considerations with the Simpl team.

Session overview

The one-hour session will cover:

• Understanding the Simpl-Open new capabilities

  A short introduction to Simpl Programme and Simpl-Open new capabilities.

• Exploring DOME Marketplace integration

  Understand how the proposed integration aims to improve the discovery and reuse of relevant cloud, edge and AI services across ecosystems, followed by a closer look at selected requirements.

• Exploring Monetisation

  Learn about the proposed capabilities to support Governance Authorities in managing the financial sustainability of their data spaces, followed by a closer look at selected requirements.

• Community discussion and Q&A

  Share questions, practical scenarios and other considerations during the Q&A.

Anyone interested in the evolution of Simpl-Open and its upcoming capabilities. 

It will be particularly relevant for: data space representatives, technical architects and developers, Governance Authorities, marketplace and cloud ecosystem actors, and organisations working on interoperability and European digital infrastructures.
