On 1 July 2025, the Simpl community gathered for the latest session in the Unpacking Simpl series: the Installation Workshop.
This technical and highly interactive session guided participants through the deployment of the Simpl-Open agents using Helm charts and allowed the community to ask questions live.
Additionally, the workshop allowed a sneak peak of the recently updated Simpl-Open Architecture document now available on GitLab.
Unfortunately, the demo of the configuration of a minimal viable data space (ID attributes, onboarding, schema import) could not take place due to an unexpected connectivity issue.
We are currently working on an improved and streamlined version of the installation materials to offer a clearer and more reliable experience. This will include a recording that walks through the full deployment process, helping everyone replicate the setup at their own pace, regardless of the challenges experienced during the session.
The installation video tutorial, which includes setting up a minimal viable data space, is now available on the Simpl programme’s academy page (please note that log in is required to view this material) . These step-by-step tutorial videos provide a comprehensive walkthrough of the full deployment process, allowing everyone to replicate the setup at their own pace.
