Shaping upcoming Simpl-Open features

We’re opening this discussion to gather community input on the Simpl-Open AI extensions, currently under exploration.  

As data spaces increasingly need to rely on AI-driven services, scalable compute, service discoverability, and sustainable operations, Simpl-Open is developing three complementary features:  

• New AI/ML capabilities and integration with the EuroHPC Federation Platform (EFP). Simpl-Open powered data spaces to be able to access to ready-to-use AI services using pre-trained AI models and enable Simpl-powered data spaces to execute ML workflows; leveraging federated compute resources made available by EuroHPC in HPC centres and AI Factories.  
• Integration with the DOME marketplace ecosystem. Enable the Simpl-powered data spaces to publish services and consume trustworthy services through the DOME marketplace catalogue.
• Monetisation for the Governing Authority and economic sustainability aspects. Support data space governance roles and operations over time through different monetisation approaches.
