2.2.1 - Participant - configures and applies anonymisation techniques to a dataset

Description

Simpl shall provide a service that allows a Participant (Data Provider or Data Consumer) to configure and apply anonymisation techniques to datasets, including both techniques applied at the individual field level and techniques applied at the dataset level.

More precisely, Simpl shall support:

• the application of field-level anonymization techniques on structured and un-structured datasets
• the application of data-level anonymization techniques on structured datasets

Simpl may also offer optional capabilities, such as:

• automatic detection of PII (Personally Identifiable Information), where relevant.
